architects.bd was established to provide an authoritative, clean, and evidence-corroborated architectural index. Unlike generic lead-generation directories or self-service business listings filled with unverified claims, architects.bd operates on primary-source verification, documented cohort criteria, and explicit credit separation between individual architects and their studios.
2. Platform Operator Transparency
Platform transparency is fundamental to our editorial integrity. architects.bd is founded and engineered by Shamim Azad.
• The platform operator's own professional profile (when published) is governed by the exact same editorial review criteria, information fields, ordering rules, and corroboration standards as every other architect.
• No special "Founder", "Owner", or exceptional platform badges are applied to any profile.
• Zero algorithmic preference or ranking boost is granted to any practitioner.
• Consultation requests submitted through the platform are never secretly diverted based on operator affiliation.
3. Platform Consultation Service
Prospective clients frequently experience difficulty determining the right architectural practice for their specific typology, budget, or site conditions. architects.bd offers an independent advisory intake service to assist individuals and organizations in structuring their project briefs before engaging a studio.

Submitting a consultation request does not send a direct private communication to any listed architect, nor does inclusion in the directory imply that an architect has entered into an agency agreement with architects.bd.

We welcome participation from architects, studios, historians, and researchers. If you are an architect or authorized studio representative wishing to claim your profile, provide updated monographs, or request corrections:
